There’s a new app in the Google Play Store called DocClocker. This application has been created by practicing medical physicians, and it’s funded entirely by physicians.
The point of the app is to help patients / doctors prevent exposure to potential Coronavirus carriers in waiting rooms. This app’s goal is to help you get to a doctor, but avoid other people while doing so, basically.
The DocClocker app has been in the works for 3-4 years
It was also pointed out to us that this application has been in the works for 3-4 years. So it actually started as an app to help prevent crowds in waiting rooms in general, and it comes at the right time to help battle the COVID-19 outbreak.
This app allows you to search for and book appointments with DocClocker Providers. Those providers will constantly report their in-office situation, in other words, DocClocker will always know what’s the situation in the waiting room.
You can also search for member Urgent Care facilities using this app, while also having the full picture of what’s going on in the waiting room. Search for nearby Emergency Rooms is also an option, while you’ll have access to reviews as well.
Once you’re done, you can rate your waiting room experience so that other people can see it. This will help them make a decision next time they need to see a doctor.
DocClocker also allows you to keep notes. So, if you’re going to see a doctor soon, jot down some notes, things that you’d like to ask the doctor, and so on, and it’ll all be readily available in this app.
The calendar is built into this application
The calendar is built into this app. You can save your appointments in it, and the app can even remind you of upcoming appointments. You can receive such reminders via text or email.
That’s not all. If someone from your family is currently in the operating room, DocClocker can send you real-time updates about the procedure.
This app’s design is actually really simplistic, and modern, which is a good thing. Navigating its UI is not a problem at all, and colors are more or less quite pleasant.
As already mentioned, this is a brand new app. It’s currently on version 1.4.1, and has only 7 reviews. All those reviews are great, though, the app is currently holding a 5-star rating in the Play Store.
