LG ushered in this new camera design to line up camera sensors from the largest to the smallest (top to bottom). This handset is made out of metal and glass, and it features a curved display, and a curved back.

The phone is actually symmetrical, and it includes a dewdrop notch on the front. That notch is extremely small, while the phone’s bezels are almost non-existent. Its top and bottom bezels are the same thickness, as are its side bezels.

This phone includes three cameras on the back, and a single camera on the front. Its power / lock key is included on the right, while the volume up and down buttons are on the left.

The device features a 6.8-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) OLED display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 765G 64-bit octa-core processor, and it supports 5G.

The LG Velvet includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. You can expand this storage via a microSD card, up to 1TB. Android 10 comes pre-installed on the device, while the phone offers two SIM card slots.

The phone does come with support for LG Dual Screen and Stylus Pen accessories, both of which are sold separately, by the way.

A 48-megapixel main camera is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide one. A 5-megapixel depth sensor is also included on the back. A single 16-megapixel camera sits on the front side of the device.

The phone’s camera setup takes advantage of quad pixel binning technology for low light shots. The phone is also able to individually separate background noise and voice when shooting video. It also supports ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) recording feature.

The device comes in Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, Aurora White, and Illusion Sunset color variants. The phone will get its global announcement on May 7, and become available on May 15 in Korea. Global availability will probably be announced on May 7.
