High-End OPPO Reno Ace2 5G Will Launch On April 13

OPPO will announce another high-end smartphone soon. The OPPO Reno Ace2 5G will launch on April 13, the company has confirmed. The device will become official in China, OPPO’s homeland.

Now, we have a pretty good idea as to what you can expect out of this phone. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, and is shown above this article.

As you can see, it will feature four rear cameras, which will be a part of a circular camera module. A dual-LED flash will sit next to them, and the back side of the device will be curved.

A display camera hole will be placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s front side. The power / lock key will sit on the right, while the volume up and down buttons will be placed on the left.

This handset will become a direct successor to the OPPO Reno Ace which was introduced back in October last year. The specifications that we’ll talk about now surfaced on TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) quite recently… well, most of them.

The OPPO Reno Ace2 5G will feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) AMOLED display. That display will offer 90Hz refresh rate, by the way.

The phone will be fueled by the Snapdragon 865 64-bit octa-core SoC, and will come with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Those two variants will ship with 128GB and 256GB of storage, respectively.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on the two phones, along with OPPO’s ColorOS 7.1 skin. Stereo speakers will be included, with Dolby Atmos support. An in-display fingerprint scanner will also be a part of the package (optical).

Two SIM card slots will be available on the phone, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone will include Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C USB port. An NFC chip will be included as well.
