Tomorrow, April 17, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite will finally be available in the US.
It’ll be available for $649.99, from Samsung.com, Best Buy and Amazon. Which makes it a decently priced, somewhat high-end smartphone. It’ll be available unlocked and can be used on all four US carriers. It appears that none of the carriers will be selling the Galaxy S10 Lite, at least not yet.
Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite sports high-end specs
Continuing with Samsung’s way of putting out a smartphone at just about every price point, the Galaxy S10 Lite does offer some high-end specs.
This includes a massive 6.7-inch 2400×1080 resolution Super AMOLED display. It is a hole-punch display with the camera centered at the top of the screen. That is a 32-megapixel front-facing camera too.
Inside, there is an octa-core processor, along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is a micro SD card slot available for expanding storage if you need more space.
This is all powered by a 4500mAh capacity battery. Which, given the FHD+ display here, this should get you through a full day with ease.
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy S10 Lite with a triple-camera setup. There’s a 48-megapixel main sensor which does bring its Super Steady OIS. There is also a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and then a 5-megapixel macro camera available as well. And it runs on Android 10.
Maybe not the best value for your money, but it’s pretty impressive
Not everyone will be impressed with the Galaxy S10 Lite, especially with 6GB of RAM included. Especially where the Galaxy S10 series is being discounted fairly heavily now. Particularly the Galaxy S10e.
But for those that want a phone with a big battery, the Galaxy S10 Lite is going to be the best option. Considering the Galaxy S20+ has the same size battery, with a high-refresh rate display, and a more powerful processor. And it can still last a full day withe ease, the Galaxy S10 Lite could actually boast some pretty legendary battery life. And that’s going to be pretty incredible, to be honest.
Tomorrow, you’ll be able to order your Galaxy S10 Lite online. Seeing as there are no stores still open that are selling the device. And as we mentioned before, it is going to be available unlocked. Which will work on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon in the US. Just pop in your SIM card and you’ll be good to go.
