Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Comes To Disney+ On Star Wars Day

Disney+ has confirmed that Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker  is going to be available on its streaming platform on May 4.

That’s perfect timing, considering that is also Star Wars day. And Disney+ has a lot of content lined up for the big day, which is next Monday.

This also brings the final Star Wars film to Disney+, allowing you to do a marathon watching all of the films on Star Wars Day. Just as any Star Wars fan should do.

Disney’s plans for Star Wars Day

Disney+ has some pretty big plans for Star Wars Day. Other than The Rise Of Skywalker making its debut on the platform, it is also launching a new documentary series. This is titled Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian. This is a documentary about the making of The Mandalorian. Which is a Disney+ original series that debuted with the service back in November.

The Mandalorian is responsible for Baby Yoda. So it’s bound to be a hit.

Disney+ is also planning to update the artwork for its Star Wars movies and shows with original concept paintings from a number of different artists, including Ralph McQuarrie and Doug Chiang.

So to say that Disney+ is going big this year for Star Wars Day, might be an understatement.

How you can watch Star Wars Day content

Since Disney now 100% owns Star Wars, thanks to its deal with Fox, it has all of the content available on its streaming service. Disney+ is available for $6.99 per month, after a seven-day free trial. And you can sign up for it right here.

Disney+ has all of the Star Wars movies that have been released, including a couple original series – with more in the works, but they have been delayed for obvious reasons. Additionally, Disney+ has Marvel, which includes the majority of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies – really only missing SpiderMan because Sony owns it. As well as the Disney classics. From That’s So Raven, to The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Hanna Montana and much more. There’s a ton of content available on Disney+.

And since there is a lot of kid-friendly content on Disney+, it makes it better for those of us that are stuck at home right now. As there’s something to keep our kids busy during this quarantine. Which is a good thing.

You can sign up for Disney+ right here, and grab that 7-day free trial while you’re at it.
