Ulefone Shares Armor 7E Water & Dust Resistance Tests: Video

The Ulefone Armor 7E is both water and dust resistant. The company didn’t want you to take its word for it, so it decided to show you. The company published a new YouTube video in which it submits the Armor 7E to a number of tests.

Ulefone proves Armor 7E is both water and dust resistant in a series of tests

This video has a duration of about a minute and a half, and it has been made to prove a part of the Armor 7E ruggedness. For those of you who don’t know, the Armor 7E is Ulefone’s new rugged smartphone.

As part of the first test, the company decided to throw the phone into saltwater, next to some rocks. The phone dropped into wet sand beneath the water surface, and it was just fine after it was taken out.

The second test sees the phone thrown into saltwater yet again, this time around a little bit deeper. The third test allows the waves to basically hit the phone as it sits on a rock.

In the following test, Ulefone decided to throw the phone several more times. It got thrown on top of rocks, into saltwater several times, and it survived without a problem.

Ulefone even goes diving with it for a short while, and takes some pictures as well. Sand cannot hurt this phone either, all you have to do afterwards is rinse it off with water.

This smartphone includes a waterdrop display notch, and reinforced sides. There are three cameras included on the back of the phone.

The device is IP68 and MIL-STD-810G certified

The Ulefone Armor 7E is both IP68 certified for water and dust resistance, and MIL-STD-810G certified. That basically means that it can take a hit as well, without a problem.

The phone features a 6.3-inch fullHD+ (2340 x 1080) IPS LCD display, along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The MediaTek Helio P90 fuels this smartphone, while a fingerprint scanner is a part of the package as well.

A 5,500mAh battery is included inside of this phone, and it supports 15W fast wired charging. On top of that, it also supports 10W wireless charging. A Type-C port is placed on the bottom of the device.

A 48-megapixel main camera is placed on the back of this phone, and is assisted by two 2-megapixel units. The main camera comes from Samsung, it’s the company’s ISOCELL GM1 sensor.

The Ulefone Armor 7E will become available to pre-order on April 27. The pre-order period will last until May 3. During the pre-order period, you’ll be able to get the phone for $199.99, though that price tag is limited to the first 200 purchases.
