The Elder Scrolls Online Hits Stadia In June

The Elder Scrolls Online will be the first traditional MMO game on Stadia, and it’s arriving this June alongside the newest chapter in the Greymoor content.

Greymoor, which was announced by the Elder Scrolls Online developers Bethesda earlier this year, was confirmed to be coming to Stadia with the game. But up until now Bethesda hadn’t shared any details on when the game would be releasing for the platform.

Players can think of Greymoor as an expansion to the game, which is part of a larger push of content that will last for The Elder Scrolls Online throughout the year, called The Dark Heart of Skyrim.

The Elder Scrolls Online will launch on Stadia on June 16

June 16 is the official launch date for this game on Stadia which means you won’t have to wait too much longer to play it.

Just a couple more weeks and you’ll be diving right into the vast world of Tamriel on your phone, Chromebook, or Chromecast Ultra. As mentioned above it will also be launching alongside the newest chapter in the Greymoor story content.

So players will have a chance to jump into the latest parts of the game. Granted, you will probably have to level up your character first before you can do that.

Nevertheless, you will have the opportunity to play all of the earlier content without having to also wait for the latest content to become available. Which is a good thing since the wait for the game itself has already been quite long.

This will be one of the free games for Pro members

So far there has been more than one free game for Pro members every single month since Stadia launched.

If Google continues this trend then players can expect two or three free games in June. And one of those will be The Elder Scrolls Online. You will however still have to buy the Greymoor add-on.

There’s no mention what the Greymoor content will cost yet. But if this would be your first experience with ESO, you may as well try the game for free first. If you like it and plan to continue playing, then you can move onto buying the Greymoor content without feeling like you wasted any money.

If you want something you can play right now, both Jotun and Sundered launched on Stadia on the morning of May 26. Both are also available for under $20 and offer some really excellent gameplay with a gorgeous art style.
