The Huawei P40 Lite 5G has just surfaced, and it looks exactly like the Nova 7 SE. This handset will be a rebranded Nova 7 SE, it seems. That was to be expected, though, and not the first time Huawei did something like this. The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will be launching soon.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will be launching soon, and be quite affordable
The device’s renders have been shared by WinFuture.de. The source shared some additional information along with that, actually. It seems like the phone will cost less than €400 in Europe. Do note confuse this phone with the Huawei P40 Lite, its 4G variant is different to this 5G model.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will be launching in Crush Green, Space Silver, and Midnight Black color options. The device will pick up the Nova 7 SE internals as well, and will not include Google services.
As you can see, the phone will be made out of metal and glass. It will include a display camera hole in the top-left corner, and thin bezels. The bottom bezel will be a bit thicker than the rest, though.
The power / lock button will be placed on the right, and double as a fingerprint scanner. Above it, you’ll notice the volume up and down buttons. A 3.5mm headphone jack will also be included on this phone.
The device will feature four cameras on the back, and they will be vertically-aligned. Those cameras will be placed in the top-left corner of the phone’s back.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ IPS LCD display, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of expandable storage. That is at least what the Nova 7 SE offers, the P40 Lite 5G setup could differ a bit.
The Kirin 820 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone. That is Huawei’s very own processor, a mid-range chip. Android 10 will come pre-installed, along with EMUI 11 probably, but without Google services.
A 4,000mAh battery will be included, along with 40W fast charging
A 4,000mAh battery will also be a part of the package. It will not be removable, but it will offer 40W fast wired charging. Wireless charging probably won’t be included, but reverse charging may be.
A 64-megapixel main camera will sit on the back of this phone. It will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and two 2-megapixel units. One of those two cameras will be a macro unit, while the other will be a depth camera.
A 16-megapixel unit will be placed on the front side of this smartphone. The device will also include two nano SIM card slots, with dual standby.
The Huawei P40 Lite 5G will measure 162.3 x 75 x 8.6mm, and weigh 189 grams. The phone will launch in Europe first, almost certainly, but it will roll out to more markets. We’re not sure when exactly will it launch, but it’s coming soon.
