Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Will Offer Features Its Siblings Failed To Deliver

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer some interesting features its siblings failed to deliver. This information comes from a well-known tipster, Ice Universe, who shared some new information on the phone.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer a number of features its siblings did not bring

The tipster shared quite a bit of detail regarding the phone on Twitter. He says that the phone will offer an LTPO display, as reported by Ross Young. That is the next-gen technology for OLED displays, basically.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s QHD+ display will also be able to utilize a 120Hz refresh rate at the highest resolution setting. That Galaxy Note 20 Ultra feature will be quite interesting to many people, and is yet another example on a feature previous Galaxy flagships did not deliver.

The Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra all have QHD+ display, and all supports 120Hz refresh rate. The thing is, you can use that 120Hz refresh rate at a maximum of fullHD+ resolution.

Samsung did promise that you’ll be able to do both at some point, but that update still did not arrive. At this point, it seems like the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will deliver the feature before the Galaxy S20 series.

That’s not, all, though. The tipster also mentions the Snapdragon 865+, which suggests that the chip is coming. The Snapdragon 865+ will probably be very similar to the Snapdragon 865, though.

It will likely offer higher clock speeds, and some gaming-related improvements, maybe. If that ends up being the case, it will be a similar upgrade as the Snapdragon 855+ was to the Snapdragon 855.

New camera functions and S Pen features are also coming

The device will also ship with new camera functions, and the same goes for S Pen features. The tipster did not elaborate on that, however. We still don’t know what exactly he meant.

Ice Universe also noted that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer a “steep curved” display, similar to the Galaxy Note 10+. So, those of you who don’t like curved display may end up being disappointed.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer narrower bezels than the Note 10+ as well. Its side bezels will be narrowed by 0.29mm. The top and bottom bezels will be 0.4mm thinner as well.

Even the device’s display camera hole will be smaller. Its size will be reduced by 1mm on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The thickness of the body will be reduced by 0.3mm.

As you can see, Ice Universe shared a ton of information here. The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer quite a few improvements over its siblings.
