LG Velvet 5G has been featured in a new, rather feel good promo video. As reported by PhoneArena the handset that is currently only available in Europe and South Korea is soon to come to the US. The model launched in Europe back in April but there is no word as to exactly when it will come to the US.
The promotional video itself is rather uplifting in an attempt to gain some traction before this US launch. The video focusses on the elegant and curvy design. It also aims to subtly show off some of its features through the short clip.
LG Velvet 5G soon to come to the US
As mentioned the start of the promo video is all about focussing on the design of the LG Velvet 5G rather than its functionality.
The device itself is visibly very appealing with a rather curvy look which gives it a sense of elegance. The handset is currently placed as a mid to high range Android 10 smartphone.
The video then moves onto subtly point out and display some of the device’s features and selling points.
The LG Velvet 5G comes with 48 MP triple rear camera as well as a 4,300mAh battery. It also features a vivid 6.8-inch display.
The video also goes onto showcase features such as SMR Recording and Voice Bokeh. These sorts of features should impress most for this type of product. In the two minute videos, however, it could not get across all the important features of the device.
What else is known?
On top of all the features mentioned are some other key functionalities that go along with this device.
It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor and its 128 GB of internal memory which the video fails to mention. The handset is also water-resistant making it a higher-end product in today’s market.
The device also comes available in several colors. Thes include Aurora Green, Aurora White, Aurora Gray, and Illusion Sunset. However, it is worth mentioning that all of these colors might not be available when it launches in the US.
So far the LG Velvet 5G has come with glowing reviews in its limited launch. Based on its European price the device is likely to cost in the region of $600-700.
This makes it relatively competitive compared to rivals. However, only time will tell as to how successful it will be when launched in the US.
