Master & Dynamic Launches New Earphones And Headphones With Leica

Master & Dynamic is a well-known, prestigious audio brand that has partnered with Leica to make a line of new products, including true wireless earphones.

The unlikely partnership sees the new hardware carry a specific color scheme and design. Draped in matte black and awash with lots of flat surfaces. The new line is called Master & Dynamic for 0.95.

To be clear though, this not an entirely new set of audio equipment. What Master & Dynamic has created with Leica here is simply a redesigned set of hardware. Which includes the earphones, over-ear headphones, and a pair of over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation.

The Master & Dynamic true wireless earphones retail for $299

If you’re an audiophile looking for a good pair of true wireless earphones, these may be it. They won’t come cheap though. So be prepared to cough up a little more cash.

In the US, the Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus for 0.95 will retail for $299. What you’re paying for at that price is the new style. Not new tech. As this particular version of the earphones has the same specs and features as before.

They come with up to 10 hours of playtime on a single charge. Which Master & Dynamic says takes about 40 minutes. You can also charge them for around 15 minutes and get up to 5 hours of play time. Beyond a single charge cycle, the case itself holds three additional charges, providing up to 40 hours of play time for the earphones.

They also feature IPX5 water resistance and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX and SBC.

Two pairs of over-ear headphones designed with premium materials

Alongside the earphones, the “for 0.95” line also includes a pair of the MH40 over-ear headphones and the MW65 over-ear headphones.

Both pairs are made with premium materials, such as lambskin, cowhide, stainless steel, and aluminum. The MH40 for 0.95 are the less expensive of the two, retailing for $249 because they don’t come with the ACN. They also come in the silver color in addition to the matte black.

The MW65 for 0.95 meanwhile, comes in the matte black only. They do have the ACN though, as well as a higher price tag of $499. They come with Google Assistant built-in too. So you’re definitely getting something for all that money you’re spending.

Master & Dynamic is selling all three devices as of today. They only seem to be available from the Master & Dynamic website though. If you have some extra cash to burn and wanted to step up your audio hardware, these should do the trick.

If you’re looking for something a little less expensive in the true wireless earbuds department, the new Pixel Buds might suit you instead.
