Samsung has now announced that its Galaxy A51 mid-range handset is available in two new colors and with Premium Care protection. The new colors, Prism Crush Blue and Prism Crush White stack atop the already available Prism Crush Black. But the bigger news here is likely the addition of the device to the Samsung Premium Care program.
With Premium Care now available for the Samsung Galaxy A51, owners of the device have a bit more protection for their phone. The program offers personalized customer support too. That starts at purchase with enrollment at just $3.99 per month. Samsung does seem to indicate that current owners can now enroll in Samsung Premium Care too, though.
Summing up the available benefits, users gain access to a personal ‘set-up’ session. And, they receive support 24-hours a day, 7-days a week from Samsung experts if anything goes wrong. Or if they just need some help using their device. Premium protection means that users can get replacement devices and coverage for accidental or mechanical problems.
Of course, that’s going to be free in some cases, for a set number of repairs per year. And, in other cases, the cost is reduced. Since the repairs and replacements come directly from Samsung, users can be sure they’re getting the best available service. At the very least, that’s with authentic Samsung parts rather than needing to trust a seller on eBay or similar sites.
Two new Galaxy A51 colors are available just in time for the expansion of Premium Care
Now, as noted above, there are two new colors now for the Samsung Galaxy A51 available direct and unlocked from Samsung. Those are Prism Crush White and Prism Crush Blue — pictured above. Like the already-available Prism Crush Black, the colors aren’t a solid or gradient hue. They’re also dramatically less vibrant than the new purple tone Samsung has used for its BTS-edition Samsung Galaxy S20+.
Instead, the colors are more subdued and hinge around a variety of hues that stem from the designated color family, closely matching in the exact tone. But rather than utilizing a gradient, Samsung instead sets those colors at sharp angles to one another. The result is a somewhat geometric pattern that resembles a prism.
The white variant of that is fairly self-explanatory. Various shades of white follow the pattern. For blue, Samsung has opted for a light-shaded, almost robin’s egg blue tone. That’s as opposed to the much deeper, darker, ocean-inspired blue tones found on Samsung flagships. The color shifts in a more teal or sky blue color direction across the various sharp-edged shapes.
This phone is still going to be a great value
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is a mid-range smartphone running at around $399. Samsung packed the 6.5-inch FHD+ device with support for all major US carriers. And it’s driven by an Exynos 9611 chipset backed by 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The included 4,000mAh battery driving Android 10 and Samsung’s One UI flagship experience isn’t the largest but is a respectable capacity.
The gadget also features a quad-camera array led by a powerful 48-megapixel sensor, for photography buffs.
