Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ Camera Specs Appear

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ is expected to launch in August, and its camera specs have just surfaced. This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. He shared the info via his official Weibo account, not on Twitter.

That being said, the tipster claims that the phone will include three cameras on the back. A laser autofocus sensor will replace the ToF (Time-of-Flight) camera on the back.

The Galaxy Note 20+ camera specs claim Samsung will utilize ISOCELL sensors only

The main sensor on the phone will allegedly be a 108-megapixel one. Samsung will utilize its very own ISOCELL sensor for that purpose, the source claims it will be the HM1 unit with f/1.33 aperture.

An ultra-wide camera will also be included, a 12-megapixel one. The ISOCELL 2L3 sensor will be used for that purpose (f/2.55 aperture). The third camera on the back will be a periscope-style one.

For that camera, Samsung is also planning to utilize one of its sensors, the ISOCELL 3M5 with f/3.4 aperture. That is a 13-megapixel sensor, and it will offer crazy zoom, but not 100x zoom.

This information goes hand-in-hand with a recent rumor that the Galaxy Note 20+ will not offer the Space Zoom feature from the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy Note 20+ will offer zoom up to 50x, but not more than that. Realistically thinking, that’s all you need. Everything over that is not exactly usable either way. Even 50x is a stretch, but… there you go.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ camera specs have been revealed, it seems, and the device will become official in August during the company’s online-only event. Samsung did not confirm that, just yet, but that’s what reports are saying.

The Galaxy Note 20 & Fold 2 will launch alongside the Note 20+

The Galaxy Note 20 will launch alongside it, and the same goes for the Galaxy Fold 2. The Note 20+ is rumored to include a large QHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The device will utilize an LTPO display, unlike its sibling.

The Snapdragon 865 will fuel the Galaxy Note 20+ in the US and China, while the Exynos 990 will probably do it in Europe and India. The device is rumored to pack in 12GB of RAM, its base model.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on the phone, for sure, while the S Pen stylus will be included as well. The device will most probably include a centered display camera hole.

Its display will be curved, but not the extent of the Galaxy Note 20+. A headphone jack will not be included, while the phone will support both fast wired and wireless charging.
