Galaxy Note 20 Will Be Considerably Larger Than The Note 10

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will be considerably larger than the Note 10, it seems. That is something we expected based on rumors and leaks, but now we can actually see the difference.

A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, shared renders of the two devices side-by-side. The source actually shared two images of the two phones, in one they’re compared straight on, from the front side, while in the other they’re moved a bit to the side.

Do note that the Note 20 renders are probably created by the source for this purpose. He does seem to have accurate information when it comes to design and proportions.

The Galaxy Note 20 will be considerably larger than its predecessor, the Note 10

As you can see, the Galaxy Note 20 is considerably larger than the Note 10. Well, the phone is considerably taller, while the difference in width doesn’t seem to be too pronounced.

The side bezels on the Galaxy Note 20 may seem to be thicker, but not necessarily. Do note that the Note 20 has a flat display, while the Note 10 has a curved one. So, the bezels may be the same thickness, but the ones on the Note 10 are curved, so they seem to be smaller.

At the same time, the display camera hole is noticeably smaller. The tipster says that the Note 20 is 1cm longer than the Note 10. He also reiterates that both phones have a fullHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

These are vanilla Galaxy Note 10 and Note 20 that we’re looking at here. The story with the Galaxy Note 10+ and Note 20 Ultra will be a bit different. Why ‘Ultra’, and not ‘+’, you may ask? Well, the Galaxy Note 20+ may not launch at all.

Rumors seem to be pointing in the direction of two Galaxy Note 20 devices, the regular model, and the ‘Ultra’. Samsung may skip the ‘+’ model altogether this year, for some reason.

These handsets will launch on August 5

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will launch on August 5. The company will announce those devices during an online-only launch event, which has been announced already.

Alongside those devices, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also expected to launch. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 will, allegedly, be announced at a later date. Samsung is expected to talk about the Z Fold 2, though, at least to a degree.

The Galaxy Tab S7, S7+, and Galaxy Watch 3 may also become official on August 5. The company may announce those three devices in July, but if that doesn’t happen, they’ll all arrive on August 5.

There you have it. Samsung’s new ‘Note’ devices are right around the corner, along with several other devices. You can take a look at this size comparison while we’re waiting for the real thing.
