A new piece of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra information just surfaced, and it has to do with the phone’s camera zoom. This information comes from Jimmy Is Promo YouTube, who shared it via Twitter.
That very same source shared the very first Galaxy Note 20 Ultra real-life images, by the way. So, we do consider this information to be quite accurate, as he seems to have the phone by his side, or got a rather reliable info somewhere.
In any case, the source claims that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will offer 5x optical zoom. In other words, you should get 5x loss-less zoom here. 10x digital zoom will also be included.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will not offer 100x camera zoom, like the S20 Ultra
Now, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will also pack in a periscope camera on the back. That camera won’t offer 100x ‘Space Zoom’ like the Galaxy S20 Ultra. It will go as far as 50x, it seems.
The quality of 100x zoom on the Galaxy S20 Ultra wasn’t exactly that great, so not many people will mind this. 50x camera zoom on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra should be fairly usable.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will become official on August 5. The company announced its second ‘Unpacked’ of the year quite recently. In addition to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Note 20 will also arrive.
The Galaxy Note 20+ has also been rumored, but the latest leaked information claims that it may not launch at all. These Galaxy Note 20 series phones are not the only ones that will launch at that event.
The company is also planning to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 2, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Both of those are foldable smartphones, by the way. The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ tablets, and the Galaxy Watch 3 may also arrive.
The last three devices we’ve mentioned are still rumored to launch in July, but that seems to be less and less possible as we’re heading towards the end of the month. We’ll see what will happen.
The phone will feature a huge camera module on the back
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature a rather large camera module on the back. That is not exactly surprising. It is a bit surprising that camera module will be larger than the one on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, though, at least based on leaked images.
The phone wil include extremely thin bezels, and a curved display. Its top and bottom sides will be completely flat, by the way. A display camera hole will be included, and it will be centered.
The Snapdragon 865 Plus is rumored to fuel the device in the US and China. In Europe and India, however, the phone will ship with the Exynos 990, it seems.
