Well, call a small portfolio of devices the reason for maintaining regular updates, OnePlus is surely a brand to beat in this department. Besides, alongside Google, OnePlus is the only brand that guarantees three major OS updates and three years of security update support. And now, OnePlus has started rolling out the OxygenOS 10.3.5 update for the OnePlus 6 and 6T.
The OnePlus 6 and 6T were launched back in 2018. They came with Android 8.1 Oreo and Android 9 Pie out of the box, respectively. Moreover, the duo has already grabbed and running Android 10 OS. This new update also adds the July 2020 security update along with OnePlus Buds support, RAM management, fixes black screen, and the crash issue of the device. Besides, this new OnePlus 6 and 6T OxygenOS 10.3.5 update also improves system stability along with general bug fixes.

The update weighs in around 240 MB in size. So, considering the size of the update, there are a good number of features that this new OxygenOS 10.3.5 brings for OnePlus 6 and 6T devices. Notably, as always, the update will be pushed for the phones via OTA in batches. Meaning that it will take some time in arriving on all the units. If you have not yet received the update on your phone, then you can head over to Settings>>System>>System Updates and check for the update.
As far as Android 11 is concerned, both the OnePlus 6 and 6T are slated to receive the upcoming Android 11 update. This means that Android 11 will be the second OS update for OnePlus 6T and third for the OnePlus 6. Though there is no official date confirmed for the rollout, the Android 11 update should hit the devices somewhere in Q2 of 2021.
