Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Launch Date Tipped By Reliable Source

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 smartphones are amongst the most anticipated devices of the year, and their launch date has just been shared by a reliable source.

This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, who claims that the device will launch on August 5. That was the date that was rumored recently, and it seems it has been accurate.

The Galaxy Note 20 will launch on August 5, a reliable source claims

The tipster simply tweeted “August 5, TheNextGalaxy”, clearly suggesting the Galaxy Note 20 launch. Now, Samsung is expected to announce three smartphones as part of that lineup. The Galaxy Note 20, Note 20+, and Note 20 Ultra are coming.

Along with those three phones, the company may also release the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. So, the company may essentially launch five flagship-grade smartphones at the same time.

The Galaxy Note 20 series has been leaking for a long time now. Bits and pieces have been shared, and we can assume the rest, pretty much.

The most surprising news is a rumor about the Galaxy Note 20’s display. The vanilla variant of the Galaxy Note 20 will, allegedly, include a 60Hz fullHD+ display. That is not something that will be welcomed in a flagship, that’s for sure.

The Galaxy Note 20+ and Note 20 Ultra are both rumored to include a QHD+ 120Hz panel, though. All three phones are tipped to offer symmetrical design, and flat top and bottom sides.

All three phones will be made out of metal and glass (unless Samsung opts for ceramic on the ‘Ultra’ model), and to our knowledge, they will be quite similar in terms of the design. The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra will offer more compelling camera setups, though, and be larger, quite probably.

The Snapdragon 865+ will probably fuel the Note 20 series in China & the US

The S Pen stylus will also be included in all three phones. The Snapdragon 865+ is expected to fuel the devices in the US and China, while the Exynos 990 / 992 is expected to do the same in Europe and India.

You can expect all three phones to offer plenty of RAM and storage. On top of that, we’re expecting to see large battery packs, and fast charging (both wired and wireless) included.

Android 10 will come pre-installed on all three phones, along with Samsung’s custom software. You can expect some new, Note-exclusive software features to be included as well.

There you have it. It seems like the Galaxy Note 20 launch date has been confirmed by a reliable source. All that remains now is for Samsung to confirm it officially.
