Here’s yet another leak of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, and it gives us the best look yet of what the upcoming device is going to look like.
It does follow along with some of the more recent leaks we’ve seen of the Galaxy Note 20, including that bronze one from a couple weeks ago.
This 360-degree render comes from Evleaks, who posted it on his Patreon. This is obviously the black model, which is not using a frosted or matte finish, like many of us would love to see.
Galaxy S20 series design marries the Galaxy Note 10 design
The design of the Galaxy Note 20 is pretty striking. It looks like the Galaxy S20 series, but also has some hints of the Galaxy Note 10 series included.
The Galaxy Note series has almost always had a boxy look, and that’s what we’re seeing here with the Galaxy Note 20. With the flat top and bottom and curved sides. The screen still has curved corners, which looks rather unique with the Galaxy Note 20, to be quite honest.
The backside showcases that huge camera bump, complete with the triple camera and flash module. The cameras all look to be about the same size, which likely means it may not have that periscope lens that the Galaxy S20 Ultra had. Since that is more of a square camera cutout, while the Note 20 does not have that. We have heard that Space Zoom is gone, but the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will feature 50X zoom. So it looks like that’s not coming to the cheaper Galaxy Note 20.
It’ll be announced on August 5
The Galaxy Note 20 is set to be announced, officially on August 5. As Samsung has already announced the date for its Unpacked event. This time around, it is going to be a virtual event, which is going to be new for Samsung. As it normally has a huge audience. But due to the pandemic, that’s not happening this year, of course. So it’ll be interesting to see how Samsung handles it.
Unpacked is going to see a lot more than just the Galaxy Note 20 though. We’re expecting to see the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, as well as the other Galaxy Note 20 series. In addition to that, we’re also expecting the Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Watch 3, and the Galaxy Buds Live. There’s a lot of products coming out of Unpacked, and it’s going to be a fun time for tech fans.
