The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G has just appeared in a new leak, from WinFuture. Which shows just about every angle of the new device, a few weeks ahead of Samsung’s official unveiling.
Not only are we seeing pictures of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, but also some of the specs, features and even some of the marketing.
According to WinFuture, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is getting a new S Pen. It’ll look the same though. But it’s going to have a better response time, down to just nine milliseconds. It’s also designed to feel more realistic when writing on paper. Samsung is also working with Microsoft to offer automatic OneNote sync with its well-known gesture commands.
Exynos 990 will power the European Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
The Exynos 990 is going to be powering the European Galaxy Note 20 Ultra once again. Instead of switching over to a Snapdragon chipset.
This isn’t great news for those in Europe, because it is pretty well documented how bad the Exynos chipsets are, compared to Snapdragon. But Samsung is keeping it that way. Hopefully they don’t cut down on the RAM, like they did with the Galaxy S20 and S20+ earlier this year.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. And that is UFS 3.1 storage too.
For the cameras, Samsung is using a new 108-megapixel sensor. Which has an aperture of f/1.8. So it should perform better than the Galaxy S20 Ultra did. It also comes with two 12-megapixel sensors, including one that is a periscope lens. And yes, the 100X Space Zoom is gone. It’ll be capped at 50X this time around. And that’s a good idea by Samsung.
The first Project xCloud compatible smartphone
Samsung has had a pretty tight relationship with Microsoft over the years, so this shouldn’t be a huge surprise. But the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is going to be the first smartphone that will be compatible and optimized for Microsoft’s Project xCloud. That is their game streaming service.
With this feature, there will be more than 90 games available for your smartphone, thanks to the cloud. There’s not a lot of details available here, but you should be able to play these same games on your Xbox, PC and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Samsung is going with a large 6.9-inch OLED display on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra as well, according to this leak. So it’s going to be a big one.
