Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ Live Images Leak Ahead Of Launch

Samsung‘s Galaxy Tab S7 tablets have been leaking extensively over the past few weeks. Now, with less than a month to go for their official introduction, live images of the Galaxy Tab S7+ have appeared online.

South Korean certification authority Safety Korea recently certified the Galaxy Tab S7+ with model numbers SM-T975N and SM-T976N. The two model numbers probably correspond to the LTE and 5G versions of the tablet, respectively.

While the certifications did not reveal any details about the device, they give us our very first look at the upcoming Samsung flagship. The Galaxy Tab S7+ will feature minimal bezels around the display, which is a 12.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a screen resolution of 2800 x 1752 pixels. There’s a single selfie camera at the front, which, rumors suggest, is an 8-megapixel sensor.

On the back, the Galaxy Tab S7+ gets a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor along with an LED flash. Just side of the camera housing is the long strip where the Bluetooth-enabled S Pen would attach magnetically.

The whole setup is identical to the Galaxy Tab S6 that launched last year. There’s also an AKG branding at the rear, confirming that the tablet’s quad-speaker setup will be tuned by the Samsung subsidiary.

Galaxy Tab S7+ live images leak

This is the first time Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S7+ has appeared on the internet in live images. However, the tablet’s specifications and feature details have been leaking for the past several weeks.

Specifications of the vanilla Tab S7, which features an 11-inch Super AMOLED display, have also surfaced on the internet before. An official-looking press render of the Tab S7 leaked earlier today.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series will come equipped with the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC. Both the tablets will be available in multiple memory configurations with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. The two tablets will run Android 10 with One UI 2.5 out of the box.

The vanilla Tab S7 also gets the same set of front and rear cameras as its more powerful sibling. Additionally, both the tablets will feature an in-display fingerprint reader.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ packs a massive 10,090mAh battery and may come with 45W fast wired charging support. The Tab S7, on the other hand, gets a relatively smaller 7,760mAh battery. It may also lack 45W charging speeds.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab S7 duo in both LTE and Wi-Fi-only variants. Additionally, The Tab S7+ will also come in a 5G variant in select markets.

It will only support sub-6Ghz 5G networks though. Samsung built a custom variant of the Galaxy S20 for Verizon’s mmWave 5G networks earlier this year. It remains to be seen if the company does the same with the Galaxy Tab S7+ as well.
