Xiaomi Mi Band 4C Launched As Rebranded Redmi Band

Xiaomi has just launched the Mi Band 4C, its new fitness tracker. That device is basically a rebranded Redmi Band, in case you’re wondering. That was expected to happen, though.

This fitness tracker has been announced in Malaysia. It follows its Bluetooth certification, and its appearance in the Mi Fit app. Its launch was just a matter of time, pretty much.

We do not know if this fitness tracker will be arriving in any more countries under this name. It probably will, but we don’t know when or where exactly.

This fitness tracker comes with a squarish-shape, and a silicone band. It features a 1.08-inch TFT display with 200 nits peak brightness. For charging, it uses a USB-A plug, so it’s different than other Mi Band devices.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4C battery will last for about two weeks

The company claims that the device offers 14 days of battery life, so it offers less than its siblings in that regard. A 130mAh battery is included on the inside, and it will take you two hours to fully charge it.

There are a bunch of sports modes included inside this fitness tracker. Keeping fit is the whole point of owning and wearing one, after all. You’ll get access to outdoor running, exercise, cycling, treadmill, and fast walking.

On top of that, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4C can track your steps, and how many calories you’ve burned. On top of that, it can keep track of your heart rate, and sleep patterns as well.

The device is 5ATM waterproof, which means you can take it under water without a problem, up to 50 meters. You will, of course, get music control options on this fitness tracker, along with app notifications.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4C follows the Mi Band 5 lead. That device launched quite recently, in China. It will make its global debut soon, Xiaomi is planning to release it this month.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is the company’s main fitness tracker

The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 brought a lot to the table. It introduced magnetic charging to the series, along with women health tools. NFC is also a part of the package, while the band is still quite affordable.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is, without a doubt, the best fitness tracker from the company. The Mi Band 4C is a more affordable variant, that some people may be interested in.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4C is priced at RM99 ($23). The Mi Band 5 is priced at $27 in China, and it will be a bit more expensive elsewhere. That device will probably be worth getting over the Mi Band 4C, though we’ll see.
