PuroPro Headphones Don't Compromise But Do Keep Your Ears Safe

Puro Sound Labs is looking to protect consumers’ ears without reducing quality via its newly-introduced volume-limiting PuroPro headphones.

Not only do these headphones boast hi-fidelity “studio” audio at a comparatively affordable cost. They’ll also keep listening levels within the appropriate range to not damage the wearer’s hearing. And, according to Puro Sound Labs, they’ll do that without sacrificing anywhere else. Or at least not anywhere that’s really important for wireless headphones.

So what, exactly, do PuroPro headphones deliver that’s different?

Now, on the outside, PuroPro looks just about like any other pair of cans for listening to audio wirelessly. They’re minimal and sleek and ship with a hard-cover case. On the inside, they’re designed to protect users’ ears.

In terms of how that works, Puro Sound Labs indicates that’s via self-limiting volume constraints placed on the headphones. PuroPro headphones won’t just let users listen as loudly as they like. The World Health Organization recommends headphone users only listen for up to 8-hours per day at 85dB volume. Or just 50-minutes per day at 95dB. And these headphones will hold users to that.

Quality, conversely, is supported behind the scenes via Puro Balanced Response Curve. That’s a technology that Puro Sound Labs says will protect audio integrity when streaming over Bluetooth 5.0. Specifically, it says the tech delivers clear, crisp vocals but also full dynamic bass. These headphones, the company says, will work great across all genres of music just as with some of the best listening gadgets on the market.

It’s also packed that technology in with Digital Noise Reduction Technology. More concisely, that’s two adjustable active noise canceling levels at either “15dB +/- 2dB” or “32dB +/- 2dB.” The system uses 4 mics to that end. And it has a separate fifth microphone for communication.

For battery life, the headphones perform at 85dB for 28-hours on end with active noise canceling. With that feature turned off, that extends up to 32-hours. PuroPro can last up to 300-hours on standby. Or indefinitely via the included 3.5mm aux port.

Where to buy?

Puro Sound Labs says that the PuroPro headphones are already available to buy too. And they won’t cost an arm and a leg either. These wireless headphones are available in both the UK and the US on Amazon.com. In the UK, the wearables have been priced at £199.99. Only the currency changes for US buyers, with the price set at $199.99 on the stateside site.
