Huawei is reportedly working on a couple of new wearable devices. The yet-to-be-announced Huawei Watch Fit is now listed on an Austrian e-commerce website revealing its first look, key specs, and pricing.
It is the same smartwatch which was earlier spotted on a couple of certification websites as Stia. The Huawei Watch Fit costs €119 (approx. $140) in Europe and is currently listed as “Coming Soon.” It will be available in four color options — Graphite Black, Cantaloupe Orange, Sakura Pink, and Mint Green.
Huawei Watch Fit Smartwatch Specs
While the previously launched Huawei smartwatches came with a circular display, the upcoming Watch Fit sports a tall rectangular display. It measures 1.64-inches diagonally and uses AMOLED display with 456 by 280 pixels resolution.
There is no support for third-party apps, but it can show notifications for incoming calls, SMS, weather, messaging apps, and more. While there is no mention, the rear view of the image hints the smartwatch might come with interchangeable straps.
Even though the company is using the 20mm straps, the standard straps won’t fit with this smartwatch. On the right side of the dial, we can spot the only physical button and a microphone. However, there is no loudspeaker on this smartwatch for taking calls. The Watch Fit also has water-resistance of 5ATM (50 Meters).
It lasts up to 10 days on a single charge
Speaking of the sensors, it comes with a built-in GPS, accelerometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, and heart rate sensor. While the battery capacity of the smartwatch isn’t specified, it will last up to 10 days on a single charge. Like the other Huawei wearables, the Watch Fit should also come powered by the proprietary Lite OS.
It works with both iOS and Android smartphones. The smartwatch will also support multiple sport modes including walking, running, and swimming. It also features sleep tracking and breathing exercise modes. The Huawei Watch Fit with a 1.64-inch display has wrist coverage between 80mm and 120mm.
With all these features, the Huawei Watch Fit might work more like a fitness tracker than a regular smartwatch. The company is yet to officially announce the launch date for the Watch Fit. It might launch alongside the Mate 40 series in early September.
