Fitbit is reportedly gearing up for its next three devices, based on leaked images which showcase the Versa 3, the Sense, and the new Inspire 2.
The Inspire 2 will be the second tracker in the line from Fitbit. Meanwhile, both the Versa 3 and the Sense will be upcoming smartwatches the company offers. With the Versa 3 being the followup to the popular Versa 2.
While the designs don’t look all that different, images of the Fitbit Versa 3 and the Sense point to at least one possible feature that hasn’t been integrated before. This feature should help users get the most out of each device.
Images of the Fitbit Versa 3 and Sense could point to built-in GPS
Based on the leaks (which come from WinFuture), it seems that Fitbit will be integrating built-in GPS for both the Versa 3 and the Sense. Though not necessarily the Inspire 2.
If you look at the back image of the two smartwatches, you can see a symbol that looks like a pin drop. Which seems to indicate that built-in GPS may be worked into both devices.
Past Fitbit devices have required you to keep your phone connected if you wanted to use GPS features. So this would mean users could wear the Versa 3 or Sense, and leave their phones at home while still tracking their positions.
Both the Versa 3 and Sense are also likely to include ECG support. Which is something that’s included in the new Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 as Samsung has been keen on adding a more fitness-based approach to its wearables.
The Fitbit Inspire 2 keeps a familiar design
Fitbit doesn’t appear to have changed much about the design of any of its devices. Not that that matters anyway. Because if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. And apparently Fitbit didn’t see a need to change the design too much.
This seems to ring true with the Inspire 2 as well. Rather than change up the design a whole lot, Fitbit instead seems to have focused on improving their functionality.
It would be doing this with the new features being embedded. Such as the GPS and ECG support. And in the case of the Inspire 2, while it may not have either of those previously mentioned features, it should have everything the last Inspire had. While also improving on battery life and a few other key areas.
Based on all leaks, Fitbit will offer the Versa 3 in black, while the Sense will be offered in black and what seems to be a tan or pink color with a rose gold case. The Inspire 2 also seems to come in that same color, though with a black case. Having said that, Fitbit tends to offer a few different color options for its trackers and smartwatches. So expect the same thing here.
