JBL Has 3 New Portable Speakers To keep Your Music Going

Today JBL announced it was launching a set of three new portable speakers to its product lineup.

Like past portable speakers JBL has put out, these are aimed at delivering decent quality sound in as small of a package as possible. Making them easy to fit in any bag or even a pocket if your pockets are big enough.

At least that’s the idea for most of them. All three speakers are continuations in popular lines that JBL already offers. So there are no entirely new lineups of speakers here. Though these aren’t just refreshes either as they are new models with new designs and new features.

New portable speakers from JBL include Xtreme 3, Go 3, and Clip 4

Out of these three new speakers that JBL is launching today, the Xtreme 3 is really the only one that isn’t as portable as the others.

It’s still portable, thanks to the inclusion of the nifty loops where you can attach a handle. But it’s quite a bit bigger than the other two. So it can’t exactly fit inside of your pocket. It can however be tossed inside of your bag.

And because of its larger size it’s really the ultimate option if you want larger than life sound. It features a battery life of up to 15 hours, and it’s IP67 certified which means it’s plenty water resistant.

If you prefer something a little bit smaller, than look no further than Go 3. This comes with a built-in loop handle that can be affixed to bag zippers or you can just hold it in your hands. It also has a battery life of up to 5 hours, and has the same IP67 rating as the Xtreme 3.

Lastly there’s the Clip 4. When it comes to battery life this is the middle ground as it will last for up to 10 hours. JBL also upgraded the carabiner on this one so it should be stronger and just overall higher quality than before.

Each speaker comes in multiple colors and uses USB-C connections

Variety is the spice of life. But that doesn’t have to just apply to foods. It can apply to speakers too.

Which is why JBL is offering each of these in multiple color options. The JBL Xtreme 3 will be available in Blue, Black, and Squad, and retail for $349.95. Meanwhile, the JBL Clip 4 comes in Black, Blue, Blue & Pink, Red, Squad, Pink, Green, and White.

It’ll retail for a much lower $69.95. Even lower still is the Go 3, which you can pick up for just $39.95, and should be the one you choose if you aren’t looking to spend a lot but still want some good sound.

The JBL Go 3 comes in all the same colors as the Clip 4.

All of these speakers are launching in the US but aren’t quite available yet. The Go 3 is the first to arrive and will be available from JBL’s website (as will the other two speakers) and retail partners like Amazon in October. Following the Go 3, the Xtreme 3 will launch in the US in November. And lastly the Clip 4 will launch in the US in December.
