Mophie is expanding its mobile accessory lineup with the addition of two new wireless charging products. The Zagg-owned accessory maker on Monday unveiled the 15W wireless charging pad and the 15W wireless charging stand. The two new wireless charging accessories feature the company’s compact design language with a premium fabric finish.
Mophie 15W wireless charging pad
Among the newest additions to Mophie’s mobile accessory lineup is this tiny square-shaped product with rounded corners. The new Mophie wireless charging pad can deliver up to 15W of power wirelessly on contact with any Qi-enabled device, like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
According to the company, this pad can charge through cases up to 3mm thick. So unless you’ve put on a really sturdy case on the back of your phone, you may not need to remove the case to charge it wirelessly through Mophie’s new wireless charging pad.
It has an anti-slip rubber ring to help keep your device in place on top of the pad. And thanks to its small footprint, this gadget won’t eat up too much space on your work table either. It has dimensions of 3.43 x 3.43 x 0.51 inches and weighs just about 60 grams.
Mophie is offering two years of manufacturing warranty with the pad. Priced at $49.95, the package comes complete with the wireless charging pad, a USB Type-C charging cable, and a wall adapter.
Mophie 15W wireless charging stand
This is pretty much the same product except for it keeps your phone at a convenient viewing angle while charging it wirelessly. Otherwise, it offers the same 15W charging speed and charges any Qi-enabled device through cases up to 3mm thick.
You can put your phone on the stand either in portrait or landscape mode and charging will begin immediately. This makes it ideal for charging the phone during video calls or streaming. An anti-slip rubber ring will ensure that your phone is always in place.
Just like the wireless charging pad, this device will also support both current and the upcoming generation of Qi-enabled devices. This product also has a similar dimension when it comes to the landing pad. The square-shaped pad that sits on top of your table measures 3.625 x 3.625 inches in dimension. The product is 5 inches tall and weighs about 156 grams.
You’re also getting the same set of accessories in the box, including a USB Type-C cable and a wall adapter, along with two years of manufacturing warranty. The Mophie wireless charging stand costs $59.95.
Both the wireless charging pad and stand feature low standby current to ensure minimal power draw when not in use. The two new products are now available to buy at Mophie’s official website. The company says its newest mobile accessories will also be available through AT&T and other major retailers in the coming weeks.
