Samsung is long rumored to launch the mid-range Galaxy M51 smartphone. Ahead of its official debut, the Samsung Galaxy M51 now listed on Amazon India revealing its design and key details. However, the official launch date is yet to be announced.
As of now, the listing only mentioned the device as “coming soon.” The company introduced the Galaxy M series in early 2019 to regain its lost market share in the budget segment. When the Galaxy M51 goes official, it could also be the costliest Galaxy M smartphone ever launched.
Samsung Galaxy M51 Amazon listing reveals the punch-hole design
The renders from the Amazon listings confirms the device to sport Super AMOLED Infinity-O display. As seen on the premium Galaxy smartphones, the punch-hole selfie camera on this device comes aligned towards the center-top of the display.
On the right edge of the device, there is only the volume rocker. The missing power button hints the Galaxy M51 might sport a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Even the recently launched Galaxy M31s sporting AMOLED display also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Moreover, the device also popped up on the Google Play Console confirming a few of the earlier leaked specifications. The display on the front obviously comes with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it could feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform.
A few leaks suggest the device might actually come with the Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform. This is also the same chipset that also powers the Google Pixel 4a. Compared to Snapdragon 730, the Snapdragon 730G only comes with an overclocked Adreno 618 GPU for slightly improving the gaming performance.
Will come packed with a huge 7,000mAh battery
It will be available multiple storage variants featuring 6GB and 8GB RAM. The device will also be running on Android 10 out of the box. Speaking of the cameras, the quad-camera setup on the rear features a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a couple of 5MP sensors.
On the front, the Galaxy M51 comes equipped with a 32MP selfie camera. Interestingly, these are the same set of camera sensors offered with Galaxy M31s. From the leaked images, the large rectangular camera module looks exactly the same as the Galaxy M31s.
Furthermore, the company will be presenting its latest Galaxy M smartphone with a whopping 7,000mAh battery. Also, it supports 25W fast charging through the USB Type-C port. While the 3.5mm headphone is long gone from the flagship Samsung smartphones, it still lives on in the budget Galaxy smartphones.
