The Samsung Galaxy M51 is rumored to make its debut in India in September. In the last few weeks, we have seen several leaks about this upcoming mid-range smartphone from Samsung. Just a month ahead of the possible launch, the Galaxy M51 pops up on FCC revealing 25W fast charging support and other key details.
It is listed on the FCC website with the model number SM-M515F. The screenshot of the “About phone” section included in the e-label file confirms SM-M515F will be the model number for Galaxy M51.

As seen with the previously launched Galaxy M-series smartphones, the upcoming Galaxy M51 will also support dual SIM connectivity. The FCC listing also confirms the device to support 25W fast charging. Talking about the in-box contents, the Galaxy M51 will come accompanied by a 25W USB-C power adapter and USB-C to USB-C charging cable.
This could be the first time a company is offering a USB-C charger with a mid-range smartphone. Previously, the company offered these accessories only with the Galaxy S and Galaxy A smartphones. However, the recently launched the Galaxy M31s is the first M-series smartphone to offer 25W fast charging.
The device will also support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC on the connectivity front. Apart from FCC, the device was also spotted on the benchmarking website Geekbench. It runs on Android 10 out of the box and includes 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy M51 is expected to come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform.
Rumored to come with 64MP triple camera setup
It has scored 545 on the single-core and 1,775 on multi-core tests. The earlier leaked CAD renders already gave us the first look at the device. It will come with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O AMOLED display. Unlike the Galaxy M31s, the punch-hole cut-out on the Galaxy M51 is located at the top left corner.
In terms of optics, the device will be coming with a 64MP triple camera setup on the rear. Even with AMOLED display, the company seems to opt for a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Also, the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge of the device.
Moreover, there is also a 3.5mm audio jack which is missing on the flagship Galaxy smartphones. In order to keep the pricing down, the company will most likely stick with a polycarbonate body. As seen with other Galaxy M-series smartphones, the upcoming Galaxy M51 will probably never hit US shores.
