Last week, Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2020) was listed on a Dutch retail website revealing the pricing and availability details. Now, the press renders leaked by leaker Evan Blass give us a first look at the upcoming Galaxy Tab A7 2020 tablet.
While the leaked renders show us only Gray and Gold colors, the retail listing also mentioned the tablet to come in Silver color. Furthermore, the renders also confirm the Galaxy Tab A7 is designed to be used in the horizontal orientation.
Galaxy Tab A7 2020 leaked renders reveal the design ahead of the official launch
Like the recently launched flagship Galaxy Tab S7 tablets, the front camera on this upcoming tablet is placed on the side bezel. On the rear, there is a single camera sensor with no LED flash. It is placed on the top left corner of the tablet. The bezels all around the display look decent for a budget Android tablet.
The power button and volume rocker are placed on the side edge. The 2020 Galaxy Tab A7 also sports a slightly bigger 10.4-inch display with Full HD+ (2,000 x 1,200 pixels) resolution. Based on the leaks, it could feature an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED panel.
It comes in both LTE and Wi-Fi only variants and bears the model numbers SM-T505 and SM-T500 respectively. While both tablets pack 3GB of RAM, it will be available in 32GB and 64GB storage options. Obviously, there will be a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion on this budget tablet.
Comes equipped with a quad-speaker system
In Europe, the Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 LTE starts at €293. For the Wi-Fi only variant, the tablet costs €235 and €266 for the 32GB and 64GB variants respectively. Since the tablets will start shipping September 11, the official announcement should happen before that.
As seen on some Galaxy Tab A tablets, the 2020 Galaxy Tab A7 also comes equipped with quad stereo speakers. While it runs on Android 10, there is no confirmation whether it comes with One UI 2.1 or 2.5. The Google Play Console listing also revealed the tablet to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Mobile Platform.
It also packs a solid 7,040mAh battery that should make the tablet last till the end of the day. While the Galaxy Tab A7 is currently listed on several European retail websites, it could soon make its debut in the US as well. However, there is no official confirmation from Samsung over the launch date yet. Stay tuned!
