Bose has officially launched two new pairs of truly wireless earbuds — Bose QuietComfort Earbuds and Bose Sport Earbuds. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are the same Noise Cancelling Earbuds 700 which were first announced in mid-2019. Coming to the Bose Sport Earbuds, these were supposed to launch as Earbuds 500 by the end of 2019.
Both the models are now available for pre-order and will start shipping on September 29. The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds with the active noise cancellation (ANC) support are priced at $279, whereas the Bose Sport Earbuds come with a price tag of $179.

The QuietComfort Earbuds are claimed to offer the same noise-canceling performance as their QuietComfort headphones. The earbuds come with StayHear Max tip design featuring interchangeable silicone tips. Each earbud features multiple microphones for active noise canceling.
With 11 levels of noise control, the QC earbuds also support adjustable noise control. Speaking of battery life, the earbuds alone can last up to 6 hours on a single charge. The charging case offers an additional 12 hours of battery life. With the quick charge support, the earbuds can give 2 hours of playtime with just 15 minutes of charging.
The charging case also supports wireless charging and includes a USB Type-C port. With the QuietComfort Earbuds, the company is introducing the new volume-optimized Active EQ technology. It is said to boost the lows and highs to provide balanced audio output even at different volume levels.
15 minutes charging gives 2 hours of playtime
The right earbud comes with a “specially designed microphone array” to focus on the voice while answering calls or talking with the digital assistant. Moreover, the company ultimately got rid of the physical buttons and went all in for the touch controls.
The Bose Sport Earbuds mostly carries the same features as the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, but lacks the noise-canceling functionality. Since the Sport Earbuds come in a slightly smaller form factor, the battery life is also slightly lower at 5 hours per charge.
Both models are IPX4 certified and come with Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity. The earbuds are also fully customizable using the Bose Music app. Within the retail package, the company will be providing three sets of silicone ear tips in small, medium, and large sizes.
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds come in Triple Black and Soapstone color options. Meanwhile, the Bose Sport Earbuds will be available in Baltic Blue, Glacier White, and Triple Black colors.
