Motorola has officially launched the Moto E7 Plus smartphone in Brazil. It is the company’s latest smartphone in the affordable E-series lineup. The new Moto E7 Plus was launched alongside the Moto G9 Plus and Moto G9 Play smartphones.
While there are also leaks about the Moto E7, the company is yet to officially unveil it. The Moto E7 Plus comes with a plastic unibody design featuring curved edges and rounded corners. It will be available in Navy Blue and Amber Bronze color options.
Moto E7 Plus Full Specifications
The 6.5-inch MaxVision LCD display on the front offers HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Though there are visible bezels, the ultra-wide display still looks decent for a budget smartphone. It comes powered by the 11nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 mobile platform launched in January this year.
The chipset comes packed with Kryo 240 CPU and Adreno 610 GPU. It comes only in a single storage variant sporting 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, the users can further expand the storage using the hybrid SIM card slot.
The dual-camera setup features a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Just below the square camera module on the rear, there is a circular fingerprint scanner integrated into the Moto dimple.
Comes with a MicroUSB port for charging
Besides, the device also supports face unlock for biometric authentication. The Moto E7 Plus is kept powered on by a 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims to last more than two days. However, there only a 10W power adapter to charge this massive battery.
Moreover, the company is still using the MicroUSB for charging this device. It measures 165.2 x 75.7 x 9.2 mm and weighs 200 grams. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB port.
The device runs on Android 10 out of the box. Compared to other budget Android smartphones, the Moto devices offer bloatware-free and ad-free experience. Even the UI of the device looks close to stock Android UI.
Both the power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. Additionally, there is also a dedicated button got triggering Google Assistant. The availability of the Moto E7 Plus smartphone is currently limited to Brazil where it costs BRL 1499 (approx. $282). The device could make its international debut in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
