Philips Hue New Lightstrip Will Make Movie Nights Epic

Many of us use Philips Hue’s LED light strips on the back of our TVs for different reasons. Philips Hue realizes that and decided to launch the Play Gradient Lightstrip. Which is made to perfectly fit a 55 up to a 85-inch TV.

The new Play Gradient Lightstrip will also work with the Philips Hue bridge and can be used with its smartphone app or the Philips Hue Play HDMI sync box with its Hue Sync mobile app. When used with the HDMI sync box, it will mimic the colors and action of the content on the screen. Which is going to give you a pretty incredible home theater experience. As well as making for a pretty epic gaming session on the upcoming PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X.

Philips Hue has thought about everything with this new lightstrip. It offers a 45-degree light projection and a perfectly blended gradient of light. That is done with a series of individually addressable LEDs. These can all produce more than 16 million colors of light. So it can mirror whatever you see on your TV.

The company also added corners to the light strip, so that it can go around the corners and cover three sides of your TV. Giving you a more immersive experience.

Philips Hue also announced Iris and new Candelabra bulbs

While the Play Gradient Lightstrip is by far the star of the show, Philips Hue also had a couple of other announcements for IFA today.

That includes Philips Hue Iris. This is a stylish new table lamp that is being reintroduced. It offers rich colors, and lower-than-ever dimming. It also has a significant increase in brightness, up to 570 lumens. Additionally, it also sports a fabric-wrapped cord. You can place Iris anywhere in your home and control it with Bluetooth, or via WiFi using the Philips Hue Bridge.

Then there is the new Philips Hue E12 candelabra bulbs, which are now available in White and Color Ambiance and White Ambiance. These new bulbs have been updated with Bluetooth, so it’s even easier to control. They can also provide millions of different shades of color, and even warm-to-cool light.
