Grab Risk of Rain 2 On Stadia Today At A Limited Time Discount

Risk Of Rain 2 has made its way to Stadia this morning after being announced for the platform earlier this month.

The game is a third-person shooter with roguelike game mechanics, and is developed by Hopoo Games. It was originally released on Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and now has made the jump to Stadia.

While the game is already a good value at its official retail cost, if you pick it up within the first week of its launch you can save some money. This is also a limited time discount so you may not want to wait too long.

Risk Of Rain 2 on Stadia will be 20-percent off its first week

Those looking to save some cash have the game’s entire first week to do so.

Starting today, Risk Of Rain 2 will cost $19.99. It’ll stay that way until October 7 when the price will increase to its normal cost of $24.99.

Also worth mentioning is that if you still have that $10 credit Google gave out to members earlier this year, you can save even more money on the purchase of Risk Of Rain 2. Brining the price down to just $10 total.

The game is confirmed to run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. So expect a gorgeous display of the game’s crafted worlds at a buttery smooth frame rate.

Enjoy single player and co-op play

Risk Of Rain 2 players can take on the enemies and challenges that await them by themselves or with friends. As the game will feature both single player and co-op play.

That co-op play is likely going to come in handy when you traverse into the dangerous territories of the Sundered Grove. Stadia’s limited time exclusive stage that launches with the game today.

Since this is a limited time exclusive it’ll be available on other platforms eventually. But Stadia players will get the chance to try it out first.

Hopoo Games doesn’t mention when other platforms will have access to the new stage either. All that’s been said is that it will arrive on other platforms in the future. That could mean a month or it could mean three.

Either way, exclusive content might be a good reason to give Stadia a shot if you want an early look at the Sundered Grove ahead of anyone else.

Risk Of Rain 2 is the latest game to land on Stadia, coming from a smaller indie developer, and it’s landing at a pretty good time. Numerous AAA games from large publishers are headed to Stadia in the next couple of months.

So launching now gives Risk of Rain 2 some time to standout amongst the incoming sea of bigger titles.
