Learn More About The Galaxy Z Fold 2 Via Official Videos

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 got announced yesterday, and the company released quite a few official videos since then. You can check out all of those videos below, as they’ve been uploaded to YouTube.

There are five videos available here at the moment. Those are the videos that were at our disposal while writing this article, Samsung will probably upload more in the near future.

These official videos show the Galaxy Z Fold 2 design, hinge, multitasking & more

The first video actually emphasizes the fact the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a foldable device. In it, the company bids farewell to flat displays, and introduces its second-gen ‘Fold’ smartphone.

There’s not much to see in this video, other than the Galaxy Z Fold 2 which goes from folded to the unfolded state. It’s a nice, short video, and it goes straight to the point. It’s embedded below this paragraph.

The second video focuses on one specific feature, the ‘Flex Mode’. It shows different angles to which the Galaxy Z Fold 2 can be rotated to, and how the UI will adapt based on those angles.

So, for example, if you rotated the display at a 90-degree angle, Samsung’s camera app will be separated into two parts. The first will be on half of the main display, the other on the other part.

If you to go fully unfolded mode from that position, you’ll be able to take advantage of the full display again. Samsung adapted many of its apps to work great with the Z Fold 2.

The third video puts more focus on the display. It will show you both the main and ‘Cover’ displays. The company focuses on thin bezels that surround both of these displays.

The focus is also on the fact the main display folds, and on the fact these displays do look quite gorgeous in general. Gaming is also a factor in this video, while the 120Hz refresh rate is also mentioned.

The phone feature an UTG display, and a rather sophisticated hinge

In the fourth video, Samsung talks more about the folding factor of the device. It mentions the device’s UTG (Ultra Thin Glass), while it also shows how the inside of the device works when the device folds.

You’ll be able to see the phone’s hinge up-close-and-personal. Samsung improved this hinge, so that it does an even better job of holding dirt and dust on the outside.

The last video gives you a taste of multitasking on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. It shows multi-window layouts that you can take advantage of, as you have that much screen real estate to work with.

This phone is made for multitasking, no doubt about that. You can organize your apps in multiple windows to make things easier and be more productive at the same time. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is already available to pre-order.
