Samsung Releases Teaser For Its "Unpacked For Every Fan" Event

Later this week, Samsung is going to hold its third Unpacked event of the fall season. And Samsung has just released a new teaser for this Unpacked “For Every Fan” event.

The teaser doesn’t actually tell us a lot about what to expect from this event. Other than the fact it’ll announce devices for “every fan”. Touting fans of its innovation and features, colors and more.

What we expecting at this Unpacked event?

We are expecting to see at least one device, in the Galaxy S20 FE. Which is set to come in a ton of different colors, and also be a slightly smaller Galaxy S20+, at about $500 less.

It’s possible that Samsung could announce some other products at this event on Wednesday. But there’s not much left to announce. Considering Samsung has already announced the Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 2, Tab S7, Tab S7+, Galaxy Buds Live and now the Galaxy S20 FE. There’s not much left that Samsung could have up its sleeve to announce on Wednesday.

However, we do know that it is going to be a relatively short live stream on Wednesday. Which likely means, just one phone. But Samsung has surprised us before, so who knows what is in store.

Pre-orders will likely begin shortly after the Unpacked event commences. Normally, at 12:01AM EDT the following day. Given the many, many leaks we have seen for the Galaxy S20 FE, it is likely coming to all of the US carriers – AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. And will also be coming in a few different colors – no less than five so far.

It seems that Samsung learned its lesson on the very limited color palette that it launched with the Galaxy S20 series, as the Galaxy S20 FE is coming in many colors. As did the Galaxy Note 20 series. Customers weren’t too fond of only having to choose between black, and gray for their new smartphone. Especially when they are spending over a grand on this new device.

When can I watch Unpacked For Every Fan?

Samsung will be live streaming this Unpacked event, as it always does. You’ll be able to watch it on Samsung.com as well as on YouTube.

Unpacked starts at 10AM EDT on Wednesday, September 23. It should only last about half an hour. So don’t expect this to be a mega-long Unpacked event, like with the Galaxy Note 20 series. Which is going to be nice.
