As per the latest reports by 9to5Google, Google is testing out a new automatic monthly subscription service, called the Premium Print Series. This will allow the user to print their best photos.
Notably, when subscribed to this Google Photos Premium Print Series, Google will send the user’s prints uploaded to its Photos app every month.
Note that when a similar service was highlighted previously, it was available for a price of $7.99. However, as per new reports, the new Google Photos Premium Print Series could arrive for $6.99.
Well, it is a good thing to have all your captured memories saved in a cloud. But having a printed copy of that memory is something special.
Besides, users were able to get prints of their saved images on Google Photos for a while now. You can take prints in the form of photo books, canvas art, etc.
But this new Google Photos Premium Print Series subscription gives another option. This would include the photos suggested by Google, with all the controls available to the user.
Keep in mind that the user has the utmost control over which photos they want to choose for this service. Moreover, the suggested images can be easily edited by the users or they can skip a month if they want to.
Google Photos Premium Print Series will provide users with more customization options
This feature was discovered by Reverse Engineer Jane Manchun Wong. When a user opts for this subscription, Google will send 10 photos each month.
Over which the user has full control. Moreover, this feature brings more customization control options for the users. Apparently, users will be able to choose between matte or glossy print options or choose to have a border or no border.
Additionally, users will also get the option of including postcard type photo information at the back of each photo. After choosing the options at your convenience, Google Photos will send ten 4×6 prints each month.
These photos will be based on Google algorithms on Google Photos. However, as already mentioned, the user has the final call and can review and edit the images.
Good thing is that, if you are busy or did not take memorable clicks during a month, you can pause your subscription. It is priced at $6.99, which is affordable to say.
You do not have to visit a physical store, which is a bit risky in current times of the pandemic and social distancing. There is no info on when this Google Photos Premium Print Series will come to reality.
But taking a look at the leaks, we expect a formal announcement in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted once we have more information in this regard.
