The very first Google Pixel 5 unboxing video surfaced yesterday, showing the device, and the content of the retail box. Well, a second Google Pixel 5 hands-on video just appeared, and this one shows more software, including the phone’s camera UI. This video comes from a YouTuber called ‘TotallyDubbed’.
It has a duration of around 8 minutes, and it also seems to be coming from the UK. This video will also show you what’s in the box. This time around, the person in the video also talks, so you’ll get some proper directions.

You’ll also get to see the results of some benchmarks in this video. The Google Camera v7.6 seems to be installed on the device. In comparison, the current Google Camera installed on the Pixels is v7.5.
This version of Google Camera has a new shutter button, and some buttons in the UI are a bit darker now. The camera settings seem to be unchanged, though.
This version of Google Camera seems to add the ‘Audio Zoom’ feature to the Pixel 5. The YouTuber does not test that feature, though, so we’ll have to wait in order to see how well it works.
What this video does, however, is confirm that the Pixel 5 ultra-wide camera can go down to 0.6x zoom. The device also offers 7x zoom, by the way, though it does not have a telephoto lens.
You’ll also get to see some camera samples here. The YouTuber compared the Pixel 5 to the Galaxy S10+, as it seems that’s the device he had on hand. The Pixel 5 image is easily recognizable, as it’s quite contrasty and sharp.
4K video at 60 FPS looks really good
HDR doesn’t seem to be great here, though it’s possible this is pre-release software we’re looking at here. The video side of things looks really good in 4K resolution at 60 FPS.
What this video also shows us that the microphone seems to work much better now while using the selfie camera. That’s pretty much everything the YouTuber showed.
This video gives us another look at the Pixel 5, as it seems like Google didn’t really share the device with any of its usual sources ahead of launch. The company announced the device two days ago, by the way, in case you missed it.
The Pixel 5 is technically Google’s new flagship, even though its specs are mid-range. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 765G, while it includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
