Ulefone has decided to show off how tough the Armor X8 is, by performing a durability test. Well, the company actually submitted this phone to a series of durability tests, and showed all that off in a video format.
The Armor X8 is the company’s newest smartphone, and the aforementioned video has a duration of about two minutes. The video is embedded down below, and we’ll talk more about it in the following paragraphs.
In the first test, the Armor X8 had a meeting with a set of stairs. The phone was thrown down those stairs, and that didn’t really damage it at all. The phone is well-protected all around. The company’s employee threw the phone twice, actually.

Following that, the Armor X8 got thrown in some sand, which is mixed with a bunch of small rocks. In the third test, the phone was used as a shovel, basically, as it was scraped against some sand, and rocks, both big and small.
You can easily wash the Armor X8, as it comes with IP68/IP69K certification for water and dust resistance. That was also demonstrated in this video. The phone was also submerged in the process.
The Ulefone Armor X8 is not the most powerful rugged phone we’ve seen, not even close. This is a budget phone, but if you need a rugged device for whatever reason, this may be a good choice… especially if you don’t want to break the bank to get it.
The device includes an octa-core SoC, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A large, 5,080mAh battery, is also included. There are three cameras included on the back, lead by a 13-megapixel unit.
A single 8-megapixel camera can be found on the front. This phone does include an NFC chip as well, and ships with Android 10 out of the box.
The Ulefone Armor X8 can be purchased for $119.99 as we speak. This is its discounted price tag, as it’s usually $80 more expensive. You can purchase it from AliExpress, if you want. The link is included below.
