Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 Beta Program Now Open In UK, India & South Korea

Finally, Samsung has kick-started the Android 11 One UI 3.0 beta program for the Galaxy S10 series. Notably, Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and S10 5G models are eligible for this One UI 3.0 beta program.

Samsung has really changed peoples’ perceptions in terms of rolling out updates. A few years back, Samsung was not regarded as one of the best OEMs for pushing timely updates.

However, Samsung understood the importance of regular software updates. Fast forward to now, it is one of the top OEMs sitting beside the likes of Google, and OnePlus, in rolling out timely updates.

In fact, this year Samsung revamped its update policy and committed to rolling out three years of Android OS starting from 2019 devices.

Moreover, it has also shared the list of devices eligible for receiving three years of Android OS updates. It has been one of the fastest to push regular security updates for its devices as well.

Keeping up with the momentum, soon after Google released Android 11 for its Pixel lineup, Samsung started working on its Android 11-based One UI 3.0. Some weeks later, it released the beta update for the Galaxy S20 series.

Now, after releasing the beta updates for the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2 devices, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2, it is time for the Galaxy S10 series to experience One UI 3.0.

Galaxy S10 series One UI 3.0 beta program is live in the UK, India & South Korea

The Galaxy S10 series, which includes Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, and S10 5G, was supposed to pick up the beta update earlier this month along with Samsung’s 2020 foldables.

Unfortunately, high battery drain during the initial test builds caused hurdles in the timely rollout. This made Samsung delay the One UI 3.0 beta launch for all the devices.

Good thing is that it seems like the company now has everything under control. The Android 11 One UI 3.0 beta program is live for users in India, the UK, and South Korea.

Other regions are expected to join this bandwagon soon. As per Tizenhelp, in South Korea users on KT, SKT, LG U+, unlocked models, can apply for the program. All Galaxy S10 unlocked models in India are eligible for this program.

In order to receive the One UI 3.0 beta update, you will need to register for the program through the Samsung Members app.

In the app, you will see an official banner to sign up for the program. Once you have enrolled, you will grab the Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 beta update via the Settings >> Software update menu on the phone.

One thing to note is that beta updates could carry some bugs. So, make sure you take a complete backup of your device before installing the beta update on your Galaxy S10.
