New reports suggest that Garmin is adding one more powerful tool for women to track their health. Notably, the company is rolling out pregnancy tracking to its Garmin smartwatches and Connect app.
The feature will let users track pregnancy-related health symptoms from the smartwatches. Women can monitor their health progress by tracking fatigue, stress, etc. through their due date.
Apparently, this new pregnancy tracking feature would be available after updating the Garmin Connect application. Moreover, you also need to download the Pregnancy Tracker app from the ConnectIQ store.
Women can make use of this feature to adjust the heart rate alerts. This is because the heart rate can increase during pregnancy and the adjustment on the Garmin watch would prevent false heart rate alarm.
Using this Garmin Pregnancy Tracking feature, users can also change hydration goals as well. Women can track their pregnancy on a week-by-week basis. Additionally, they will get educational content related to pregnancy to exercise, and nutrition.
The content on the Garmin smartwatch would help the pregnant ladies to keep themselves fit and strong during their labor days. Manually tracking baby movement and blood glucose levels are also possible via this Garmin Pregnancy tracking feature via the smartwatch.
Garmin Pregnancy Tracking can track how your body changes each week, month and trimester
Pregnant ladies can set customized reminders in order to keep them healthy. The pregnancy tracker would also recommend several weight gaining options to track your progress.
All these new Garmin Pregnancy Tracking can be done while tracking your usual health metrics. Which includes sleep, Body Battery, activities, and more, via the Garmin smartwatch.
Women can also pause their training status if they notice decreasing heart rate and blood volume, which usually happens during pregnancy.
Another interesting thing that pregnant ladies can track is the gestational age and baby size. In fact, the baby size will be compared with common fruits and veggies, to make ladies understand how big their baby has become in their belly.
Pregnant ladies have often complained about and criticized smartwatch companies for not including any features related to pregnancy. So, finally, it is a good thing that Garmin has understood the importance of pregnancy and has included all these features in its smartwatches.
