One UI 3.0 is Samsung’s latest custom skin, which is based on Android 11. And after making the One UI 3.0 beta available for the Galaxy S20 series, the update will be expanded to Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G, Galaxy S10, and Note 10 series.
Soon after Samsung pushed One UI 3.0 Android 11 beta updates for the Galaxy S20 series devices, Galaxy Note 20 also joined the bandwagon.
And now, the latest announcement confirms that the company is adding more devices to this list. Note that these new devices will be getting their first beta builds of the One UI 3.0 Android 11 update.
However, this piece of information was shared on Samsung Korea’s community forums. So, this means that the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Z Flip 5G, S10, and Note 10 series will be first picking up One UI 3.0 beta updates in Korea.
But this does not mean that other regions would not pick up the Android 11 One UI 3.0 beta updates. Apparently, it will be first served in the home country of South Korea and later onto other regions.
Besides, the official post does not confirm the exact One UI 3.0 beta rollout date for the devices. We expect them to roll out in the coming weeks.
Older flagships like Galaxy S10 and Note 10 will also pick up Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta
Good thing is that, along with the newer foldables, i.e. the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip 5G, older flagships like Galaxy S10 and Note 10 will also pick up the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta update.
Samsung has posted similar posts about the older flagships as well. But just like the posts for foldables, the post for Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series devices also do not carry any update release dates.
Once the update goes live for all these devices, it would be available via the Samsung Members app. You will have to tap on the banner announcing the release in the Samsung Members app.
Then simply follow the on-screen instructions to grab the latest Android 11 One UI 3.0 beta update on your supported devices. The app will then take some time to process your enrollment.
After this, the update will go live for your phone and you would be able to enjoy all the features of the Android 11 One UI 3.0 on your phones.
One thing to note is that the One UI 3.0 updates will be in their beta phase. So users will come across some bugs and glitches while using their devices.
So, it is not recommended to install the update on your daily driver. Meaning the phone that you use primarily for daily usage. Users would also have to provide feedback about the bugs they have faced with the update.
