Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy Buds Pro alongside the Galaxy S21 series in January. The recent leaks have already revealed the first look and key features. Thanks to GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro pricing has leaked as well.
As per the source, these upcoming TWS earbuds from Samsung will likely retail for €229 (approx. $279) in Europe. In comparison, the Galaxy Buds+ and the Galaxy Buds Live launched earlier this year came with a price tag of €179 and €199, respectively.
Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro European pricing leaked
At €229, the Galaxy Buds Pro will become the most premium TWS earbuds ever launched by Samsung. However, these are still €50 cheaper than the Apple AirPods Pro in Europe. The Galaxy Buds Pro will surely be the best TWS earbuds available in the market for those who like in-ear design.
Initially, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be available only in Phantom Silver, Violet, and Black color options. Samsung is also rumored to offer these new earbuds for free with the Galaxy S21 Ultra pre-orders. As of now, there is no confirmation over the similar deal for the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21+ pre-orders.
The slight price hike of the Galaxy Buds Pro also brings a few new features like 3D spatial audio mode and Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). To take advantage of the new 3D spatial audio mode, the Galaxy Buds Pro need to be paired with a smartphone running on Android 11-based One UI 3.0.
These earbuds will officially launch on January 14
In terms of design, the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds look similar to the Galaxy Buds+ rather than the Galaxy Buds Live. However, the charging case will come with a square-ish design like the one that came with the Galaxy Buds Live. The FCC certifications also revealed a few specifications of these upcoming earbuds.
First off, the Galaxy Buds Pro come with the model number SM-R190 will only support Bluetooth 5.0. The charging case will feature a 500mAh battery capacity. Each of the earbuds will sport a 60mAh battery, same as the Galaxy Buds Live. As seen on the previously launched Galaxy Buds, the Galaxy Buds Pro will also come with touch controls and wireless charging support.
Since there is no official confirmation from Samsung, take all of these details with a pinch of salt. The company will officially unveil the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones and the Galaxy Buds Pro on January 14.
