Now Control Your Dyson Appliances Via Google Assistant

One of the most popular home appliance makers in the world, Dyson has now enabled Google Assistant support for a select range of Dyson air purifiers and other appliances.

Dyson appliances are some of the best in the market. With this Google Assistant support, these appliances now support all the major voice assistance namely, Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant.

Google Assistant is one of the most advanced voice assistants around. You can ask questions and control almost all of your connected devices via Google Assistant.

Over the years, Google has added a ton of functionality to the assistant. This has not only made the assistant wiser but also extended the range of tasks that it can perform.

Besides, now with the addition of Google Assistant support, Dyson appliances will also be able to control your smart Dyson purifier, humidifier, and more with just your voice.

You can create routines, that will help you automate your Dyson appliances. Notably, you can also automate your Dyson appliances to work with other smart home devices.

A simple example would be, you can say “Good Evening” to turn ON your lights and humidifier. Moreover, users can also control their Dyson products using the Google Home app or Smart Display, including the Nest Hub.

Dyson has also added Google Assistant support for 360 Eye & 360 Heurist

Dyson announced this Google Assistant support for its products via its official support page. Along with a select range of Dyson air purifiers, Dyson has also added Google Assistant support for 360 Eye and 360 Heurist robot vacuums as well.

As far as air purifiers are concerned, you can control Dyson Pure Cool purifying fan (with smart connectivity), Dyson Pure Cool Link” purifying fan, Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Link” purifying fan heater, Dyson Pure Cool purifying fan, Dyson Pure Hot Cool purifying fan heater, and Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool purifying humidifying fan.

As per the official support page, Dyson says that the new functionality will work with devices with Android 6.0 and higher. And it should not be much of a problem, as most of the devices are running Android 6.0 or above.

In order to use Google Assistant with your Dyson product, you first need to link your Dyson account within the Google Home app. Then, you will be able to control your air purifier using voice commands.
