Samsung Galaxy A72 5G Design Revealed Ahead Of Launch

The Samsung Galaxy A72 5G design has been revealed thanks to leaked renders. These renders come from OnLeaks aka Steve Hemmerstoffer, who shared them via the ‘Voice’ platform.

The Galaxy A72 5G design renders reveal a large phone with ‘glasstic’ back

You can check out all of the renders in the gallery below the article. This smartphone will ship with a frame made out of aluminum, but its back cover won’t be glass. It’ll be plastic, or as Samsung likes to call it… glasstic.

Samsung is really pushing these ‘glasstic’ panels lately, and you can expect them in many of the company’s mid-range phones next year. Having said that, this device also has thin bezels.

They’re not as thin as the ones on the Galaxy S21 series will be, of course, but they’re thin enough. The bottom one is somewhat thicker than the rest, though. The device also includes a centered display camera hole. That camera hole seems to be fairly small.

It will feature four cameras on the back

The power / lock and volume rocker buttons are placed on the right-hand side of the device. The back side of the phone seems to be flat, and there are four cameras included on the back of the phone.

Three of those camera sensors seem to be fairly large, while the fourth one is quite small. An LED flash is also a part of that camera housing. The camera housing will protrude a bit, while Samsung’s branding is visible on the back.

You will notice that this phone does look quite similar to the Galaxy A52 5G that surfaced recently. It actually looks almost identical to that smartphone.

The Galaxy A72 5G will feature a 6.7-inch flat display, says the source. It will measure 165 x 77.4 x 8.1mm (9.9mm with the rear camera bump), while a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be included.

This handset will become official in early 2021, though we don’t know when exactly.
