Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Appears On FCC, S-Pen Support Confirmed

Leaks have been pouring in for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series. We know almost all the details about the entire Galaxy S21 lineup. And the latest FCC listing confirms that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support S-Pen.

Yes! You heard it right. One of the most beloved features of the Galaxy Note lineup, the S-Pen support is coming to Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Well, it is not a shock of some sort. Because previously it was highly speculated that the upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra phone will come with S-Pen support.

In fact, earlier this month, Samsung itself confirmed that it would be porting over some of the most loved features of the Galaxy Note series to other Galaxy phones.

Cut to now, it is now confirmed via the FCC listing that the Galaxy S21 Ultra model number SMG998B will come with S-Pen support.

Moreover, the filing also confirms some other important details that the phone will come equipped with. The leaked FCC listing also confirms that the Galaxy S21 Ultra will support Hover functionality too.

This is similar to the air-gestures that we currently have on the Galaxy Note series. It basically lets you perform several tasks on your phone, without touching the display.

Do not expect the S-Pen to come bundled with Galaxy S21 Ultra

Although the device is set to come with S-Pen support, you should not expect Samsung to bundle the S-Pen with Galaxy S21 Ultra. However, there are chances that Samsung may offer the S-Pen with Galaxy S21 as part of some promotions.

Even if the device came with the S-Pen bundled with the phone, you would require a special case to hold the stylus, as the phone does not come with a dedicated slot inside it to hold the S-Pen.

Talk about some other features that the FCC filing confirms is the UWB functionality, NFC, wireless power transfer (i.e. reverse wireless charging), wireless charging, and Wi-Fi 6E.

Apparently, Samsung will launch its wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro, alongside the Galaxy S21 series earlier in 2021. The phone will come with Snapdragon 888 processor for users in the U.S., Canada, and China.

Other regions, including India, will get their hands on the Exynos 2100 variant. Galaxy S21 Ultra will house a 108MP camera and would be the only phone among the entire lineup to sport the curved display.

Besides, a 5,000 mAh battery will provide power to the beast from Samsung. Since the launch of the Galaxy S21 lineup is coming closer, more leaks will soon surface on the internet. So stay tuned.
