After treating the Galaxy Note 10 series owners, Samsung is now rolling out a stable Android 11 One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy Z Flip owners as well.
The update is currently live for the users in Europe and Nigeria. But hold on! Since the update has been released via OTA, it may take some time before hitting all the units.
Notably, just over a week ago, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G started receiving the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update. And now, it is time for the 4G variant of the device to get served with the latest OS.
Samsung hit the ball out of the park with its Galaxy Z Flip smartphone this year. The phone had all the ingredients to make a powerful clamshell device.
It came with Android 10 One UI 2.5 out of the box and was bound to grab the latest update soon. However, just before the new year, Samsung has treated its Galaxy Z Flip owners with the Android 11 One UI 3.0 update to end 2020 on a good note.
Talking about the update, it packs tons of new features. It also bundles the latest December 2020 security patch and weighs over 2GB in size. So, make sure that you download this update on a strong internet connection.
Galaxy Z Flip Android 11 update arrives with software build CTLA
This new Android 11 One UI 3.0 update brings, apart from all the user interface changes, and the stock Android 11 changes, this update also includes features of Samsung One UI 3.0.
Features like Quick Settings toggle, notification bubbles, redesigned volume controls, revamped home screen design, new icons, video enhancer, improved privacy and security controls, etc. are also included.
If you are in the region where the update is live and have not yet received the One UI 3.0 stable update on your Galaxy Z Flip, then you can manually check for it.
In order to that head over to “Settings.” Then navigate to “System updates.” From there, tap the “Download and install” option. Your phone will then start checking for the new update.
You can proceed with downloading and installation of the update on your phone if a new update is detected. Note that it may be possible that the update won’t be available straight away. So, you need to wait for the rollout to expand for more users.
