Xiaomi Mi 11 Coming At The End Of December With Snapdragon 888

The Xiaomi Mi 11 will trump the Galaxy S21, as it will launch before the end of the year. This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. He also noted that the Mi 11 will become the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 888.

Now, in comparison, Samsung is planning to announce the Galaxy S21 series in mid-January. It remains to be seen which of the two phones will become available to purchase first, though.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 will become official in December, but we don’t know when will it become available

The Xiaomi Mi 11 will get announced at the end of December, but we don’t know when will its sales begin. Also, this will probably be a global launch of the device, but we cannot be sure. It may be limited to China first, we’ll see.

The tipster shared another tidbit about the phone, it mentioned that it will have a “four-curved screen design”. In other words, its display will be curved in all directions, not only towards the left and right side.

If you take a look at the image provided below, you’ll be able to see what seems to be its front panel, or perhaps the tempered glass screen protector. In any case, you can see the curves on it.

It will likely have a display camera hole, though Xiaomi may surprise us

We’re not sure if the device will have a display camera hole or not. Chances are that it will either have a display camera hole, or utilize an under-display camera setup. The first option is more likely, but we’ll have to wait and see, as we haven’t seen any legit leaks of the phone just yet.

That is actually quite weird, because we see quite a few leaks of Xiaomi’s flagships before they become official. It seems like Xiaomi did a good job of concealing the Mi 11’s design.

There’s no doubt this phone will be extremely well-equipped when it comes to specs, and it will probably be made out of metal and glass. It is expected to be considerably more affordable than the Galaxy S21, but no pricing info surfaced just yet.
