Acer during its CES 2021 product announcements unveiled three pricey new options for its gaming monitor lineup.
Though Acer has certainly made pricey monitors before, it’s also well-known for being one of the more relatively affordable brands in PC gaming. And with PCs in general. But you’ll find no inexpensive models here.
As each one boasts new tech, high resolution visuals, and high refresh rates. Catering to gamers that are looking for the best of the best when it comes to visuals and in-game experiences.
None of the three new gaming monitor options from Acer are available yet. But they will be launching later in the Spring. With two models in the Predator line and one in the Nitro line.
Acer will launch its new gaming monitor options in May of this year
If you are on the hunt for a new gaming monitor and money is no exception to you, Acer can set you up in the next few months.
It plans to launch its three new gaming monitors in May of this year. Its lowest priced model, the Nitro XV282K KV, will retail with a starting price of $899. It comes with a 28-inch 4K display and a 144Hz refresh rate. And it supports the 120Hz refresh rate of new consoles like the PS5 and the Xbox Series X.
Then there are two models in the Predator line. The Predator XB273U NX that starts at $1,099, and the Predator XB323QK NV that starts at $1,199. The former is a 27-inch WQHD monitor that supports up to a 275Hz refresh rate. If you have the PC hardware to support a refresh rate that high as well.
It also supports NVIDIA G-Sync and NVIDIA Reflex Latency Analyzer. Meanwhile the latter model is a 31.5-inch 4K monitor that supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate just like the Nitro model.
Options for both PC and console gamers
While all three monitors will work just fine for the PC gamers out there, the Nitro model is perfect for console gamers that were able to secure next-gen consoles. Even if you plan to get a next-gen console the Nitro monitor will suit you well.
It supports HDMI 2.1 and VisionCare 3.0 with a TUV Rheinland Eyesafe certification so there’s less strain on your eyes while gaming over longer periods of time.
Meanwhile the two Predator models both come with VisionCare 4.0 for even more comfortable gaming for your eyes over longer periods of time. Such as gaming tournaments, or long days of live streaming.
