Galaxy A52 5G Leaked In A High-Quality Official Press Render

Early in December last year, we got our first look at the Galaxy A52 5G. Those were CAD-based renders that revealed the device’s exterior design in great detail. Now, we have the first official press render of the upcoming Samsung mid-ranger, courtesy of the same source.

The leaked press render of the Galaxy A52 5G doesn’t reveal anything that we don’t already know. As you can see in the image above, it’s a typical Samsung mid-ranger-looking smartphone with rounded corners, a centered punch-hole camera, and a big display with minimal bezels on three sides and a relatively thicker chin. The volume controls and the power button are on the right side.

On the back of this phone is a quad-camera setup with an LED flash, all housed inside a rectangular camera bump on the top left corner. Unlike the Galaxy S21 flagship series, which has its camera housing extending from the frame itself, the Galaxy A52 5G gets a separate camera bump on the back panel. Typical mid-range stuff here, though the Galaxy A32 5G’s rear-camera array looks stunningly beautiful despite it being a less expensive model than the Galaxy A52 5G.

Moving on, previous reports have suggested that the Galaxy A52 5G will get a metal frame and a plastic body. That’s no very common sight on Samsung’s mid-range offerings. The latest report doesn’t specify the choice of materials though. So we’ll have to wait for more reports to emerge and confirm that.

The CAD-based renders had last month revealed that the upcoming Galaxy smartphone will have its SIM-tray on the top, alongside a microphone. A second microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a down-firing speaker all reside at the bottom.

Galaxy A52 5G rumored specs

Talking about the internal components of the Galaxy A52 5G, a Geekbench listing back in November last year had revealed that the phone will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor with 6GB of RAM. The device expectedly runs Android 11 out of the box.

The quad-camera setup on the back consists of a 64-megapixel primary camera. The other three cameras will likely include an ultrawide lens, a depth sensor, and a macro camera. Spec details of these three cameras, as well as the front-facing camera, is no known.

The newly leaked press render of the Galaxy A52 5G shows the device in a matte finish. Previous leaks showed it in a blue color as well. With the device starting to pop up on the internet quite frequently, it shouldn’t be too long before Samsung officially unveils the handset.

There are some reports that the Galaxy A52 5G will cost similar to its predecessor. The Galaxy A51 5G debuted with a price tag of $499. So if Samsung indeed manages to launch the new phone at the same price while offering some notable upgrades, it’s shaping up to be a really compelling proposition.
