OnePlus 9 & 9 Pro Display Info Revealed, Along With More Details

A well-known tipster has gone to Weibo to reveal some display information regarding the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The person in question is Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster. Along with the display information, he revealed some more details.

A tipster revealed the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro display info

The OnePlus 9 will feature a 6.55-inch fullHD+ flat display, with a 120Hz refresh rate, according to him. The OnePlus 9 Pro, on the other hand, will include a 6.78-inch QHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. That display will be curved.

It is said that both phones will ship with a display camera hole, and that hole will measure 3.8mm in diameter. It will be placed in the top-left corner, basically in the same spot it is in the OnePlus 8 series.

Digital Chat Station also mentioned that the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be 8mm and 8.5mm thick, respectively. On top of that, the Snapdragon 888 will fuel both devices, though we already knew that.

They won’t weigh over 200 grams

He also mentioned that the weight won’t be over 200 grams. We presume that goes for both smartphones, and it makes sense, as the OnePlus 8 Pro weighted 199 grams.

The last piece of information he shared has to do with the battery capacity. He mentioned a 4,500mAh battery, and that is likely the capacity for the 9 Pro model. The OnePlus 8 Pro included a 4,510mAh unit.

Now, these two smartphones have been leaking for a while now. They’re expected to launch in March, though nothing has been confirmed yet. Along with them, the OnePlus 9E aka 9 Lite is also expected to arrive. That phone is a mystery at this point.

Wireless charging will be included in both models

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will both offer wireless charging this time around. The OnePlus 9 Pro’s wireless charging will likely be faster, though. Both devices are also expected to offer 65W fast wired charging.

The regular OnePlus 9 probably won’t offer an IP rating, though the ‘Pro’ model might. You can expect them to be made out of metal and glass, and include an in-display fingerprint scanner. OnePlus is also promising considerable improvements in the camera department, that will probably be more pronounced on the ‘Pro’ variant.
